Apple Chocs

Not only can grocery shopping be extremely stressful, the day-to-day cooking itself can start to feel monotonous. Once you’ve found a few meals that you like and are also easy to prep, we start to fall into boring routines of the same old food and recipes day in and day out.

But doesn't have to be like that!

Being creative in the kitchen allows you to break the routine and replace ingredients with other more flavourful or healthier.

This recipe is great for when you are craving something sweet and don't want to use refined/processed sugars.

For this recipe you will need:
. 2 apples
. 100 grs of dark chocolate
. 2 tsp of coconut oil
. 6 skewers
. 100 grs of nuts of your choice

Cut your apple in slices and crunch the nuts.

I chose walnuts this time but honestly use what you like most or whatever you have on your kitchen

Push the skewer into the apple slices and deep them into the melted chocolate.

You need to e a bit quick here on this process as the chocolate will dry at some point.

After that immediately touch the apple with the chocolate into the nuts. As it is wet, they will stuck on it.

Place them on a tray with wax paper and place in the fridge for half an hour.

Very easy to follow and a great choice if you are on a weight loss journey or if you are just looking for sugar replacements.

You can store in the fridge for a few days and eat as you would like to.

I normally have it on the fridge for 4 or 5 days and have as a snack in the afternoon.
